UI size and window size
ScratchCraft’s window can be made bigger or smaller in two ways: scale the whole interface up or down with UI size, or drag the window’s edges to give the views more or less room.
UI size
Section titled “UI size”Click the brushed-gold ScratchCraft nameplate at the left of the header. Under UI size (every ScratchCraft window), choose:
- 75%
- 90%
- 100% (the default)
- 125%
- 150%
Everything scales together: text, knobs, platters and the waveforms. The current size is ticked, and hovering over the nameplate shows it too.
Sizes that wouldn’t fit on the screen the window is on are greyed out and marked “(too big for this screen)”.
Your choice is remembered for all projects and applies to every ScratchCraft window.
The same menu also has About ScratchCraft… and Diagnostics….
Resizing the window
Section titled “Resizing the window”Drag the window’s edges or corner to resize it. It goes down to 1000 × 700 and up to 2000 × 1400 (at 100 % UI size). Opening the mixer drawer makes the window taller by the drawer’s height, so the views keep their size.
When the window gets too narrow for the full header, the header turns compact: a smaller nameplate, mode switch, buttons and knobs, with DAW Sync shown as an icon. The transport readout always stays readable.
If the pad inspector in the Rack tab is taller than the space available, it scrolls.
